Blog of the day

Hi all... My blog is the 'blog of the day' in the indibloggers blog index.Check that out.. We gave the farewell to our seniors yesterday at Jenny club and it went so well. And the parting memories they shared and all the inside stories were so funny and had a nice time..I'll try to post the memorable stories in some time.. I was thinking of my placements and am a little confused about the all too common advice to be very selective about the company i choose..I am confused as to on what basis i choose and stuff..if anyone has some views regarding this please do write to me. Bye

What i hate about the internals...

Hi all And third internals are just around the corner...it is on 28th, the monday...and now starts all this frenzy of taking photocopioes(or popularly xeroxes)... This is the thing i hate about the internals. No one will be bothered about the availability of material to learn from until the tests peep in...this is the normal student mentality....and at the eleventh hour everyone will be rushing for this course material and that handout and stuff...and the photocopying machines work over-time n their owners grow fat during this time. We finished all our xerox works for this internals today and guess what i dint do a work this time..it was kd , kd and only kd who took all the pains to go over to the shop , get it all xeroxed, neatly sealed in covers for each person, and also she paid...(finally, finally v extracted some work from our rep of this sem, i.e. kd:-))... Well gotta give some finishing touches for our project... Bye

Come September

Hi all... All that is to do with da labs got over.... We are planning the farewell for our seniors this Friday...We had a meeting yesterday at my nhome regarding this..this week has got to be a frenzy i guess... Any cool games, anyone can suggest? If anyone from our bazilisx has any idea express it in the meeting tomorrow, after the photo session in the IM amphitheatre at 4:15... This is injustice, I am not being given the elective I want, for the reason that the controller of examinations cannot set too many question papers, cuz this time the number of electives offered are 13…so they had to cut all the self-electives…So I am ending up with wireless communications, rather than my choice of ‘microprocessor based system design’, Prof.SJ is going to handle wireless, it looks like, that is a good news though. He is one gem of a teacher. Last week or the week before that I had my assessment GD during the profcomm hour.It went cool...The topic was the much talked .."is India really shi...

Nandy, seriously, you should blog.....

I have always been amazed by nandy's creative writing....this is one sample...I enjoyed it a lot, hope u too do.: LOVE-LOSS OF VALUE IN ENERGY Being ECE engg students, these hi-tec romantic lines are quite likely 2 ring in our minds………… I had a mind set that luv is my bete-noire…. But when U fell into my vicinity from our college vantage point……..  I totally fell in 4 U………… I developed a predilection 4 U………..  I was obsessed with Ur thoughts the whole day…….And prayed "Adieu" hoping that I shall see U the next day, talk with U, share my thoughts, and make U understand how much I long 4 U ………  The next day, * When my Physics prof explained the stereoscopic effect of crystals I envisaged Ur face in 3-D effect………. *During my ED class,I was pertinacious 2 visualise Ur isometric view And when my ED prof questioned "Can U appreciate the point in orthographic projection?"I loudly replied "YES SIR" lately realising the loud laughter of my classmates…….  2 me mor...

The revenge

Hi all As the follow up of "KD slapped me" story, i present to the world "the revenge of Divya" story.... Well, it goes like this...yesterday i was asking KD "do u know how it feels to be slapped..?", after she hit Bhavna hard (agn twas supposed be just a pat). She said she dint know...and said she was a sport...and that i may slap her....I confirmed and reconfirmed atleast 10 times...telling i would slap her real hard...She was brave as always(thats KD). i called some witnesses(Dj and Mk).....ofcourse again i confirmed and gave her a real tight slap... Believe me people, my palms and fingers ached for some time.... And guess what my fingers had made a mark on Kd's cheeks... She took it bravely though...I slapped far more hardly than how she actually goes about slapping people....she had to cover her cheeks for a while... i actually felt sorry.i hate myself when i hurt people, that too this is the first time i 've hurt someone physically(to...

Elementary, my dear foul-mouths

Hi all... Today I was thinking about the kinda language I hear daily in coll. I wouldn't call that pleasant, well what I am meaning is the ease with which all the obscene words are being used nowadays. And the intriguing part is that studs feel that they are cool if they use these words, and thus all f-word, s-word n stuff become their natural vocabulary. I know many people who can’t blurt out a single sentence without using all these words of glory. This same sort of vocabulary is pretty common in certain under privileged class of people. Certainly nobody thinks that is cool. In fact, anyone(including our good friends who use the aforementioned 'glory' words) would just push it off as a typical 'low class' stuff. This is pure hypocrisy. Is it because they use the same words but in the regional language ? Rather than English? I feel we, the educated(or so we say) people using this sort of language is much more shameful than the other plane i just mentioned. What...

Deja vu

Hi all.... Of late i've noticed a lot of people are visiting my blog...cool.... I read the book 'Five point someone'(FPS) by Chetan Bhagath, yesterday.Oh boy,i laughed like crazy after a long time. It was like this ....I was in the bedroom alone and reading the book,,,and my folks were in the living room watching TV,and everything was quite....suddenly there comes this convulsive, all too loud, unstoppable laughter of mine from the bedroom,,,that too very regularly,,,i guess they would have thought i was insane or something....But i guess this is the first time a book has made me to laugh this crazy(of course after that jokes book i read some years back) I could somehow strike an analogy between this book and 'Bachelor of arts' by R.K.Narayan(may be just the class room and the academic background part of it) Also i found the character Ryan in FPS resembling Natraj of 'Man eater of Malgudi' by RKN. I would suggest everyone read FPS.I liked it ,,maybe because al...
