Thou shall adapt!!

Hi all

I was watching a sitcom the other day, in which the leading lady tells,"you can't get everything from a single person..."

I was pouring into it.

When I look into all the friendships I have, the statement mentioned above has always been underlying, only waiting for me to see the pattern. And I am not the same with everyone. Serious with serious people, funny with fun-loving ones, etc. And this is not something I cultivated purposefully.

For those frank talks its KD, gosipping its gotta be Abi, Girly talk its Nandy, professional talks its MK, Heart-to-heart talks its Aarthi, feel good talks its Dj, Soul-searching its Amma, Logical and fun talks its Rama, Fashion talks its Kaushi and Priya, 'old friends' talk its Ramya. assorted talks its Bhav, the big R talks its Choo.

Adaption is the buzz word here. But your principles will lie in the deepest of our values, which will not be affected by these adaptaions, but only can be enhanced. In fact your principles base is the rock on which all the adaptations are built.

I guess, everyone of us takes feedback and kinda refine ourselves in moving with each of our friends. of course , we do this only with friends and people we hold dear. And the process is mutual. So we are made of a million tiny bits of all of our acquaintances, as we are a part in a million others.

Oh..so...perhaps this is the reason, why marriages fail? Expecting everything from one person??? Of course, there are certain mandatory stuff that must be expected and fulfilled in a matrimony, but that line is not an easy one to draw, I mean what is to be expected and what not to.

Woof...I thought I could never write serious stuff!!

Family Consensus?

Hi all
Thanks for all your suggestions for the previous post.
Yesterday was election in TN. I pushed that big blue button, And whoa I performed my Democratic duty!!

Afterwards, it was all 'whom did you vote for?' talk among us friends.

Me: I voted for X
Friend: I voted for Y
Me: Oh, cool, my dad voted for Y too.
Friend: Oops, how come..no unity in your family or what?
Me: Oh please, If you want more, my mom voted for Z.
Friend: Oh...

So tell me guys, is it necessary to support a party as a family? Isn't it an independent decision..I always thought so, and will continue to think so.
