Which side of the bed?

When I get up in the morning, I always have this one moment of indecision; Get down from which side of the bed?

Having developed no regular habit on this, I go either one way or other randomly, and what usually happens would be that my slippers would be in the other side of the bed, and I would walk around the cot to wear them.

Why am I recording this in the blog? Long time ago, I was having a discussion with a friend of mine who claims to be a conformed antagonist of the institution of marriage. One of her arguments was,” The first freedom you loose when you marry is the freedom to get down from both sides of your bed”.

I would rather like if I had no choice in this, than that one millisecond of incertitude.

How can one get down from both sides of the bed? :D

And even when you're married, you can just roll over your sleeping hubby and get down --- he'll be mighty pleased early in the morning! :D

When I wake up everything morning, 2 thoughts always run through my head: should I call in sick or should I just suck it up and wake up? Unfortunately, my conscience never indulges me... and never lets me do the first one :P Very tempting though ;)

There is one way to beat your wake up blues. that is to push your bed against the wall and block one side so you have only one side to get down. or you could be even smarter like me if you push the bed against the wall with a window on it which means you could jump out when you wake up and (meet certain death) be off to work.

Beautiful mind>> I always thought and still think small things matter a LOT. In fact, I do believe in "Small things make perfection, but perfection is not a small thing"

Anon>> Why wont you reveal yourself for this innocuous comment?*Me wonders*

Princess Banter>> :) Happens at times, I guess!

Loku>> Nice ideas. What if the window has metal grill on it, like in Indian houses, you cant jump out!:)

Interesting read. Read your old blogs too. You seem to have a nice flow with thought clarity.
Also there is an innate sweetness coupled with maturity in your thoughts..

Keep it going !!!
